FOOD COATING INSTRUCTIONS
Ok, so you have your Oscar ‘n’ Ollie’s Original Chicken Coating, let’s get this party started!!!
***Pre heat your oven to 200c or your hot oil fryer to 180c***
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
First you’re gonna need a bowl with some plain flour, a bowl with a few whisked up eggs and a bowl with your coating mix
Next up your gonna need your chicken wings, chicken tenders…or whatever else you are going to coat
Dredge your first piece of chicken completely in the flour bowl with your left hand
Give it a little shake and then drop it into the egg bowl
Now, with your right hand, make sure the chicken is covered with egg and shake off the excess egg mixture
Drop it into the Oscar ‘n’ Ollie’s coating mixture and using your left hand, ensure that it is completely coated by patting it down
(Make sure you don’t get your hands mixed up…using the egg hand in the coating bowl will give you coated fingers 😉 )
Place the coated chicken onto a wire rack until you have coated all of the chicken you require
Next, if you are cooking in the oven, give the chicken a light spray of oil (sunflower is best) or oil substitute (like Fry Light)
Now place in the oven until the chicken is cooked right through…usually around 10-12 minutes**
If using an oil fryer, slowly lower the chicken into the oil and cook until the chicken is cooked right through…usually around 8 minutes**
Once the chicken is cooked, smother it in your favourite sauce and GET IT IN YOUR FACE!!!
** timings will vary depending in the size of the chicken
